Operators of the Golden Chariot, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) have announced the inaugural date of the first seasonal journey for this luxury train. The coming October 10 will mark the Golden Chariot train first run of this season from Bangalore to Goa. Most of the cabins are already reserved for the first seasonal trip beginning 10th of October. The project director of The Golden Chariot, Mr. Srinivas said that “About 75 to 80 passengers will be travelling on the first trip. Half the travelers comprises of top international travel agents from various parts of the globe, including the UK, France, US and Australia”. Moreover, all the passengers have been given the option of hopping in and out at any of the destinations during this trip.
